Eilean Donan Castle
We are heading off to explore the castle today. I took a ton of pictures last night, but will probably not post them until we get back home. Many of the shots are HDR images, and I took a bunch of large-scale panoramas which I simply do not have the time or computer processing power to deal with right now. Headed out for another busy day.

Headed to the Highland Festival
No updates last night… activities ran until 1:00 in the morning. We are headed to Shotts today for the Highland Festival. I have to drive there. I’m a little nervous. Karen is a lot nervous.
After Shotts we will head into Glasgow for the night.

Alive and well.
We were up almost all night on our flight from Washington D.C. to Dublin. (none of us really slept on the plane) Internet access has been hard to come by so far. We should have a full update tonight. In short, we spent the day touring Dublin and are now back at the airport. Be sure to check our daily log for a full update. Today’s highlight was the Guinness Storehouse…having a pint at 4:00 in the morning CO time. Nothing like a pint for breakfast. Weeee! Having a ball! – Mike

packing… still.
Almost done packing. Everyone’s bags should be small enough to use as a carry-on so that we do not have to worry about luggage getting lost (knock on wood!). We’ve been running around all day taking are of last minute details. We went by the bank to get Euros and Brittish pounds. We went by REI for wool socks. We also finally got our down-stairs apartment rented (today), so now we don’t need to stress about that. The lawn mowed, the chores are done. Now it’s time to relax. Hurrah! Time for bed. Last night of sleep in my own bed. Our plane departs at 1:40, so we are heading to the airport around 11:00. Time for some fishing in the morning? Karen thinks not. I think so…we will see.
